ADPi set for Diamond Daze events

The sisters of ADPi are set to host their annual Diamond Daze events beginning with a chili supper and clothing drive on Nov. 3.

The third annual chili supper will take place in the UC Ballroom from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tickets for this event are $5 and they can be purchased at the door, or from any ADPi member.

A chili cook-off will also be held in the ballroom at this time. Prizes will be awarded to teams who present the best recipe for chili to a panel of judges. Proceeds from these two events will benefit children at the Ronald Mc- Donald House. In addition, a clothing drive will be conducted for We Care ministries on Nov. 4 during the hours of the chili supper.

All UTM students, faculty, and organizations are encouraged to take part in this ADPi sponsored event that will benefit the less fortunate this winter.

“This is one of the biggest events we have in ADPi,” said Kristin Bradley, the president of ADPi. “We hope our success with the event will continue to grow in the future.” ADPi’s Diamond Daze will continue on Nov. 4-5 in the UC.

A table will be set up with cards for all UTM students to sign that will be taken to the Ronald McDonald House and shared with the children.

The Ronald McDonald House mission is to give comfort, care, and a home away from home for the families of seriously ill children who are benefiting from care at nearby hospitals.
