Condron, Westbrook performed at junior recitals on March 3

Justin Condron and Steven Westbrook performed their junior recitals on March 3, in the Harriet Fulton Theatre.

The junior recitals were not required for Justin and Steven. They were just for their benefit in preparation for their senior recitals which are required before graduating.

“My tone production was very good,” said Steven Westbrook, a junior Music Education major from Jackson, Tenn., who played the trumpet during the performance. “I think I did pretty well, but I need to work harder for my senior recital.”

“I went into the concert that I felt that I was 100% ready,” said Justin Condron, a junior Music Education major from Milan, Tenn. “Before I came in here I just practiced, practiced and practiced. I did what it took to get this performance done. I also enjoyed the music tonight. I think Steven did a very good job on his recital.”

“They both performed very well,” said Dr. Jeremy Kolwinska, Justin’s trombone instructor.

“Justin Condron and Steven Westbrook are good performers and nice guys. They should go far professionally,” said Joseph Kendrick, a senior Studio Art major from Jackson, Tenn.

“I thought that the recital was brilliant,” said Josh Hendricks, a junior in agriculture education and from Springfield, Tenn.
