The Skyhawk women's tennis team and Skyhawk Rodeo team have been named Skyhawk of the Week.

The women's tennis team is undefeated in the OVC, going back 21 consecutive matches to the 2005 season. Katrina Domel (8-0), Amber Garza (7-0), Elizma Schoonees (7-0) and Vicky Cann (1-0) are all undefeated in OVC singles play. Garza is currently on a nine match winning streak. Ernestine Koornhof and Schoonees are 7-0 in conference doubles play.

The women and men's rodeo teams finished first and third respectively in their home rodoe last weekend. Adrienne Vought won the average in the breakaway roping and Nikki Bacon won the average in the goat tying. The men picked up two first place finishes in the average with Ty Atchison winning the saddle bronc competition and Brent Menz picking up first in bull riding.
