Students rename locations on campus

What better way to leave your mark on campus than to have a part of the campus named by you? Some students will get this chance.

The SGA has made this opportunity possible. Students have been giving their suggestions of what they feel would be the best name for certain locations in the University Center to be renamed.

Over the past couple weeks many students participated in this event in hopes to have their voices heard. They were given the opportunity to change the name of the UC gameroom, lobby, food court, and also JW’s Market.

The fact students are able to leave an impression delights Kevin Anderson, SGA Vice-President.

“I am excited to have an opportunity to give students a chance to leave a mark on this campus that will remain for years to come,” says Anderson.

The SGA Senate will narrow down the suggestions and discuss the names with Sodexho. The final results will be given out in a couple of weeks.
