Tennessee Right to Life bring comedians to UTM

If you would like to enjoy some fun and laughs for your entire family, then UTM is the place to be.

The Tennessee Right to Life and the Obion County, Weakley County and UTM Chapters will sponsor Laugh for Life, at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2005. The event will be held in the Watkins Auditorium and is open to the public; tickets are $8.00 for adults and $3.00 for children.

The evening will feature a hilarious night of Christian comedy with special performances by Daniel Hooper, of Crocket Mills, BB Angelo and Project 430, both of Nashville.

Hooper is distinguished for his comical joke telling while BB Angelo has the ability to wow the crowd with humor suitable for children and adults. Angelo is also known for performing while dressed as an angel.

Project 430 is a group that thrives on improvisation. They are famous for pulling audience members from the crowd to help with their show and entertainment for the evening.

The Laugh for Life event plans to host a best joke series for the night as well. This will give children from the audience an opportunity to go on stage and tell their best joke to the viewers. The audience will vote on the winner for the children’s best joke contest.

“The Tennessee Right for Life is an organization with a mission to educate and inform citizens about the value of life at all stages,” said Professor James Bruce. “Our goal for this comedy show is to give the community good, wholesome entertainment and raise awareness about The Tennessee Right for Life.”

The proceeds for the event will go in conjunction for the cost of the comedians and then will be divided between the three chapters to help fund future needs of the chapters. T-shirts and front license plates will also be sold at the comedy show.
