The Bachelor takes new twist

The seventh edition of ABC’s The Bachelor is set to premier on Mon., March 28. The two hour episode of the romantic reality show will feature Charlie O’Connell as the newest bachelor.

O’Connell, a 29-year-old who has been living it up as a single guy has decided that it’s time to settle down and find that one special person. However, the 25 beautiful and successful bachelorettes are not making this an easy decision for O’Connell who is searching for love in front of America.

This season is promised to be unlike any other in ABC’s Bachelor/Bachelorette history. Many of the formalities in the past shows have all been taken away.

On the first night there will be no limos, fancy gowns and the rose ceremony will be anything but traditional. The bachelorettes are all caught off guard and given only a few minutes to get ready to meet O’Donnell and make a lasting first impression. This season’s less structured version of the show featuring no rules allows for anything to happen in hope that O’Connell will find his true love.

The Bachelor will air weekly at 9 p.m., 8 p.m. central on Mon. nights on ABC.
